My first day exploring Sapporo

Today was my first day in Sapporo, I went out exploring together with my classmate Rudi. We wanted to go to the city centre of Sapporo but started out walking the wrong way. After we had walked around for a bit we decided to start walking towards the city centre like we had planned. This took a little bit longer than we had anticipated.
After walking for about an hour through the snow we had finally made it to the city centre of Sapporo. Once there, we were searching for some shops to visit or maybe a bar to have a drink. We started by going to Sapporo Station, one of the biggest trainstations in Sapporo. It has a big indoor Mall with a lot of clothing stores (Louis Vuitton and the like), so not really a thing for us. We used the free WiFi to find a place to eat and found out that right next door there was a really big department store selling just about anything including lots and lots of food.
We went to the 10th floor of the appartment store to find a place to eat, and had a big bowl of Ramen. Afterwards we explored the department store for a while to see if there was anything nice to buy as a souvenir.
Now we were on the hunt for a good place to spent some off time, we ended up at a very nice coffee house (see picture), they had some jazz playing in the background and they made us really great coffee. We stayed here for a good two hours, making use of the free WiFi they were providing and talking to the staff behind the counter to see if they could tell us where to go next or what they do for fun.
After we left the coffee house we had to get something to eat. We walked around for a while until we were stopped by a very distinct smell; Grilled meat!. We had found a place called BEEF IMPACT, and they served all kinds of steak in all different kinds of price ranges, I chose to get one of the cheaper ones because I had just arrived the day before and didn't want spend that much money.
Even though I chose a cheaper piece of meat, it was incredibly delicious and filled me up entirely.
Having just finished a pretty large piece of meat I got a case of After dinner dip, so we decided to take the subway back home.
